Overall look and feelMain Page, Story Detail Page, Polls Main Mage, Polls Main Details Page, Submission Page (Firehorse) were updated and reintroduced in a manner appropriate to the Slashdot community. An engagement area was added to enrich user experience, story river was updated with other types of content which allowed us to introduce native ads section receiving positive community feedback. We also updated the existing Style Guide and prepared some updates for the right rale (widgets layout).

Mobile ExperienceIn 2014 the mobile media usage became higher than PC usage in the USA. Since the mobile shift happened, the mobile experience started to play the key role for media website. Concentrated on growing population of our mobile users we updated and extended mobile Slashdot with Polls and Video sections.

Administrators and EditorsSlashdot Media employees who are taking care of the content, administrators and editors are very special category of our users. Being part of the backstage, their interface never had been updated before. The updated user experience helped them to become more creative and productive in their daily duties. We introduced new 'Trending Stories' feature and other small interface updates based on their needs.
